Privacy notice
What this site collects when you use it, and how to ask about or act on your own data.
[legal review] The complete privacy notice for TechnicalInterviews LLC’s properties, covering how long information is kept, who it is shared with, and the legal basis for processing it, is being finalized and is not yet published. This page states only what is verifiably true of support.technicalinterviews.ai today, and will be replaced by the complete notice when it is ready.
What this site collects
support.technicalinterviews.ai has two forms. Neither requires an account.
- Filing a ticket. Your email address, a category, a subject line, a description you write, and, optionally, a session reference.
- Making a privacy request. Your email address, what you are asking for (a copy of your data, a correction, a deletion, or an objection), and, optionally, any detail that helps us find it.
Nothing you submit through either form is visible to the employer who invited you.
The site also records what you search for in the help centre. Searches that find nothing are how we decide which article to write next.
What is written to our server logs
[legal review] The wording of this section is with Keith Henning. It describes the code as it stands on 31 August 2026 and was written by reading the three routes concerned. One figure is missing on purpose and is not guessed at: how long our hosting provider keeps function logs.
Some of what you send us is written to our servers’ own log files. This is not a separate product or an analytics tool, and it is not shared with the employer. It is the record our engineers see. It matters because a log is a different place from a database: it is kept for a fixed window and then discarded, and a deletion request does not reach into it.
The three cases are not the same, so they are set out separately.
- Searching the help centre. The words you type into the search box are written to our logs exactly as you typed them, along with which articles matched. This happens on every search. If you would rather a question not be recorded, do not type it into the search box.
- Filing a ticket. If we cannot store your ticket at the moment you send it, we write a record of it to our logs so it is not lost. That record includes your email address, along with the reference, the category, the urgency we worked out, and the session reference if you gave one. It does not include your subject line or the description you wrote.
- Making a privacy request. If we cannot store your request, the only things written to our logs are the reference, which of the four things you asked for, and a short technical reason the save failed. Your email address and anything you typed are not written to the logs. They are held in the server’s memory so a person can still act on the request, and they are lost if that server restarts.
Ask about or act on your data
If you want a copy of what is held about you, want something corrected or deleted, or want to object to how it was used, use the privacy request form. It does not require proof of identity up front and it works whether or not you have an account.
If something went wrong with an interview and you are not making a data request, file a ticket instead; it will get answered faster.
