Invitation links and expiry

How long an interview link lasts and what to do when it has expired.

An interview invitation is a signed link rather than an account, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to remember.

• Links expire on the deadline the employer set, which is shown on the invitation.
• Opening the link does not consume it. You can close the tab and come back.
• A reminder is sent 48 hours before the deadline if you have not started.

If your link has expired, the employer can issue a new one. They are told when an invitation expires unused, so they usually already know. If you need longer for a reason that matters, ask them directly rather than us: the deadline is theirs to set.
